Welcome to the Lifepath Brinkburn website
Lifepath Brinkburn is an annual event which is hosted by local Churches in
the beautiful surroundings of Brinkburn Priory, in the heart of
Northumberland. It runs during the last week of June.
It aims to give school pupils the opportunity to explore the Christian faith
through the "life path" of a one of our local saints, Oswald, Aidan or
Cuthbert. We then use this as a springboard to encourage them to reflect
on their own "life path". It is designed for year 4 children, aged 9, who come
as a class, with their teachers and helpers, to enjoy the day.

Our Schedule

We start the day with an introduction to the day as an act of worship, with
songs and stories. The children then go on to do 4 workshops over the day,
ranging from tile making and sports, to reflective prayer spaces and bible
stories. One of the workshops is a drama exploring the actions and stories
of our local saint. At the end of the day we reflect and explore more of our
theme and challenge the children to think about their own faith journey.
